Victoria Bush Fires claims one of our own. David Balfour was accidently killed while fighting the devastating bush fires in Victoria. My deepest, deepest sympathy goes out to David’s wife and children, family and friends. This family lost not only a husband and father they lost a true hero. David was one of the valiant firefighters who risked their lives in 2003 fighting the Canberra bush fires an event that is still vivid in the minds of Canberra’s residents. It was a scary and frightening time for us and the tradgedy with the loss of this hero David Balfour is that he believed he was repaying a debt to those Victorian fire fighters who helped us out in 2003. It’s not so much about what you do, but how you do it, when, where and why and David doing just that has made the ultimate sacrifice.
The loss of 201 lives, 7000 homes, several townships, pets, wild life and stock in these Victoria bush fires is overwhelming. Compared to the 2003 Canberra bush fires our losses were microscopic, but even the loss of one life is one too many. Here in Australia we are blessed with the generosity and big hearts of all those who have rallied to help those in need. Many have and are helping in small ways that might not bring them public recognition, but Australians just can’t help rising to the occasion in any way they can.
There are some who criticise those who let the world know about their generous large donations, but the critics ignore the fact that many who might only make minimal donations are motivated to outdo each other and the benefactors are those personally touched by the tragedy. It is a fact that listeners to some radio talk back programmes have phoned in with requests as to whether particular companies, for example the big oil companies, have made any donations. This it seems is not so much of big brother is watching as the little brothers are keeping an eye on you. I pay tribute to all those who have donated in some way or other be it monetary or not your hearts are in the right place.

Reputation is determined by actions and surely you, like me will want to commend the author of YOTA http://tinyurl.com/cbp6pl who has put his money where his mouth is and has proven he is a man of his word. You‘ll love the discovery about the healthy donation he has made to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2009. This generous donation is gauranteed to go towards helping those people whose lives are in such turmoil as a result of this new tragedy. But, let us not forget those wonderful people, the SES and others who find it so easy to volunteer their time, health and safety to save as many people, homes and animals as possible.
It’s not so much about what you do, but how you do it when…

Some say Charity begins at Home, well I say that Charity is in the heart. My intention for this post was to familiarize you with the author of a special internet marketing tool, but that will have to wait. Like most of you I am deeply touched and saddened for those who have lost their lives, their homes and those who have been injured plus their families and friends in the devastating Victorian Bush Fires. There is a way that I can offer some little assistance to those devastated souls and you can help me if you wish. Just click on the following link http://tinyurl.com/cbp6pl and if you decide to go ahead and purchase the publication Year of the Affiliate I will personally donate 25% of any proceeds that are earned by me.

A few months back I became involved in an online Stock Exchange trading game that by chance opened my mind to the world of internet marketing. I thoroughly enjoyed the trading game and managed to keep my game trading losses to a mere two percent with the world boom bust in full swing. As a newcomer I was proud of my accomplishment. In the game I actually sold some Rio Tinto shares for $133.00 each and then watched the price plummet to around $25.00 each, I was very proud of myself. The main reason I did so well in my eyes is because I gained access to the right tools. Through that process I happened across a publication and person worth their weight in gold.
